You are hereby informed that your above referred tender read with subsequent letters (including revised tender, if any) mentioned above for the stores specified in the schedule annexed has been accepted. The Rate Contract will be governed by the terms and conditions brought in Form No: DGS&D 1001, amended up to date, available from DGS&D   sales counter on payment of Rs. 50/-. The rate contract and schedule annexed hereto shall be the sole repository of this Rate Contract / transaction.

Procurement of BIS

The supplies against this Rate Contract shall be only for stores having ISI mark.  In no case, the supplies against this Rate Contract shall be accepted after the expiry of the validity of the BIS licence unless so permitted by the BIS.  It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain renewal of the licence if expiring during the currency of the Rate Contract and/ or obtain the permission of the BIS that they are permitted to continue to supply the stores to IS mark pending renewal.

 

Validity of the BIS Licence: 12.12. 2005.

21.      Packing Charges- 2% of the order value for Hand Operated Chain Pulley Blocks Hook suspended items.       Packing    charges are NOT payable for the items Chain for Extra per Metre lift for Hand Operated Chain Pulley Blocks Hook Suspended. 

22.      General Technical Requirements: The firms shall submit Type test reports for each rating from Govt. and NABL approved labortaries as per list-1 given under General Technical Requirements (enclosed Annexure X) at the time of inspection. List-2 of labs. is applicable where the firms can get their product tested for special tests for which facilities are not available with the supplier.  Labs covered under List-3 can be utilized for conducting tests by QA officers during the course of inspection, provided such testing is witnessed by QA officers.

ANNEXURE ‘A’

The Chain Pulley Blocks shall meet the following specifications: -

1.         Hook – Steel forged conforming to IS: 8610-1977 (With amendment No.1).

2.         Load Chain wheel made of malleable steel castings with accurately cast chain pocket mounted on rolling type bearings.

3.         Load chain shall be made out of steel grade T-8 of IS: 6216-1982 duly heat treated for toughness and wear resistance properties.

4.         Hand chain wheel made of C1 grade FE-210 to IS: 210-1993 with

5.         Amendment No.1 or steel fabricated/pressed.

6.         Gear made of Alloy steel, machine out duly hardened / case hardened for longer life. Enclosed gears shall have suitable lubrication system.

7.         Brakes shall be Screw and friction type.

8.         Pawl & Ratchet wheel made of steel, hardened / tempered to hardness as per cl. 4.4.3 of ISS:3832-1986 Amendment No.1.
