            You are hereby informed that your above referred tender mentioned above for the stores specified in the Schedule Annexed has been accepted. This rate contract will be governed by the terms and conditions and special instructions to Consignee brought in the form No. DGS&D-1001. This booklet will be a saleable document at the cost of Rs.50/- each. Copies of form No. DGS&D-1001 are being made available for sale through DGS&D Sale counters. The Rate contract and the Schedules Annexed hereto shall be the sole repository of this Rate Contract/Transaction.

NOTE:

 

1a.       Above prices are including installation and commissioning of machine anywhere

            in India free of cost after receipt of stores at site by the consignee.

1b.       Firm shall apply catalogue/leaflet/operation/maintenance manual etc. alongwith

            each machine free of cost.

 

DUCTING :     The Customer will  please provide us with the proper ducting at your cost,

                        and as per our Service Mechanic’s advice. Correct ducting increases the

 life and improves the performance of the machine.

 

GUARANTEE : Our machines are warranted for a period of one year from the date of

                        Supply/commissioning for any manufacturing defects. Any mechanical

                        Components that might go out of order within the guarantee period will be

            repaired/replaced by us free of cost. This guarantee, however, does not

            cover the perishable parts and electrical components.

Rate Contract will be DDO operated.

6.         Terms of Delivery                     : FOR BHASE Factory

7.         Excise duty                               :  Extra as applicable at the time of delivery against

   documentary proof. Present rate of ED is 16%.

 

8.         Sales Tax                                 :  CST will be paid extra as applicable at the time of

                                                               delivery. Current rate is @4% with form ‘D’ or

                                                               10% without Form ‘D’.

 

9.         Delivery period             : Within 8 to 12 weeks at firm’s Kolkata factory

                                                              after the receipt of the technically and

                                                              commercially clear order and after inspection

                                                              stores will be dispatched.

 

10.       Annual turn over/                      :  For the 18 months ended 31st March, 2000.(i.e.

  01.10.1998 to 31.03.2000)

  Rs. 45.65 Crores with loss.

  2000-2001: Rs. 22.24 Crores with loss.

  2001-2002: Rs. 26.17 Crores with loss.

 

            Monetary Limit             :  No monetary limit.

12.       Prices                                       : Prices are firm and final and are inclusive of

                                                              Packing/Forwarding and transit insurance charges

                                                              upto destination.
